Email Reminders

Email Reminder module helps you send automated emails to your customers. It’s a must have module to ask your customers to visit your site time and again. The plugin automatically sends emails depending on the time rules you set.

Types of Reminders

We missed you reminder: The reminder rule signifies that an email should be sent to a customer if he didn’t login to your website for some time.

Account Activation Reminder: The reminder rule signifies that an email should be sent to a customer if he has registered but hasn’t yet activated the account using verification link.

Pending Review Reminder: The reminder rule signifies that an email should be sent to a customer if he has made a purchase on the store but hasn’t reviewed the product yet.

Product In Cart Reminder: The reminder rule signifies that an email should be sent to a customer if he has some products in his cart but hasn’t checked out.

Recommended Products Reminder:The reminder rule signifies that an email should be sent to a customer to recommend products based on recently visited products.

Reminder Settings

Reminder Name: The name to identify the reminder

Enabled: Checks if the reminder is enabled or not

Time Limited: Specifies if the reminder is time limited and should start and/or end on a specifies date and time.

Trigger After: Specifies the time duration after the event date after which the reminder should be sent.

Must Trigger Before: Specifies the maximum time duration after the event date before which the reminder should be sent. This helps to prevent sending emails to event dates older than the required.

Replay After: Specifies the time duration after which the reminder should run again after last run.

Replay Times: The total number of times the reminder should run after initial run.

About Event Dates

The Trigger After and Must Trigger Before fields above mention events about the reminders. The events are basically the triggers for sending a reminder. The following are the events for various reminder types.

We missed you reminder: Last login date

Account Activation Reminder: Registration Date

Pending Review Reminder: Order paid date

Product In Cart Reminder: Last activity date

Recommended Products Reminder: Last activity date
